Project — Electric mini track loader

MiniZ 400.

MiniZ 400
01

Challenge

Indoor demolition, renovation and recycling crews need real loader power in places a conventional machine cannot reach — through a standard doorway, inside occupied buildings, with no exhaust and low noise. Most compact loaders are simply too wide, too loud, or tied to a diesel engine.

02

Approach

KOVACO developed a remotely operated, fully electric mini track loader just 790 mm wide — narrow enough to pass through a 32-inch interior door. Three 3 kW motors, two for drive and one for hydraulics, run off a 48 V lead-acid battery, and a 50 m remote range keeps the operator clear of dust and hazards. It runs common attachment interfaces, so existing tooling fits.

03

Result

A 400 kg rated capacity and 800 kg tipping load in an 1,100 kg machine that works emissions-free, indoors, where larger equipment can't go. Designed, prototyped and built in-house at KOVACO.

Specs

Rated capacity 400 kg/ Tipping load 800 kg/ Operating weight 1,100 kg/ Width 790 mm (fits a 32″ door)/ Three 3 kW electric motors/ 48 V lead-acid battery/ Remote operation up to 50 m/ Zero emissions
